The TAOS is an orthotic and a walker base. These two components work together to provide a child with CP an upright hands free environment. The orthotic guides the child into proper alignment so they can train the proper muscles. The base holds the child in a standing position and provides security for them to explore and improve. The TAOS is the result of a collaboration between parents, therapists, orthotists, and engineers. It was designed to be used at home to suppliment the therapy your child is already getting. It can be used as a stander or as an advanced walker. Children with high low and mixed tone can all benefit. Take a look at the video to find a child similar to yours. |
